Who operates the service

Little Box of Goodies is operated under that name by an independent individual developer ("we", "us", or "the operator"). We are the merchant that provides the website and sells the keepsake services described below. We provide online-only customer service and have no public office or retail location.

Acceptance and eligibility

By using Little Box of Goodies, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 to use the service. To make a purchase, you must be at least 18 or the age of legal majority where you live, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and you must be authorized to use the selected payment method.

The service

The service lets people create a personal digital care package and share it through a long, unlisted link. Creating a package and opening it during its free viewing period do not require an account or payment. An account is required to buy, receive, manage, and redeem keepsake vouchers.

We sell only one-time keepsake-voucher packs. There is no subscription, recurring charge, charitable donation, creator payout, peer-to-peer payment, public content marketplace, or general-purpose file-storage product.

Prices, taxes, and digital delivery

All listed voucher prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Any tax we are required to collect is shown before payment. Payment is processed on a third party's hosted checkout page. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Vouchers are delivered digitally to the signed-in purchasing account after the payment provider confirms payment, normally within a few minutes. There are no physical goods, shipping fees, or physical returns. A browser redirect alone does not prove payment.

The current packs and prices are shown on the pricing and checkout pages. We may change prices for future purchases without changing vouchers already paid for.

Accounts and keepsake vouchers

Each voucher is a closed-loop entitlement to preserve one eligible care package using this service. Vouchers have no cash value, are not gift cards or currency, cannot be split, cannot be redeemed for money, and may not be sold or transferred. Account-based vouchers are issued only to the account that completed the purchase.

Older purchases may have been issued with a private wallet link. Such a link is a bearer secret: anyone who obtains it may be able to use the associated unused vouchers. Do not sell, publish, or forward a wallet link. New account-based purchases do not rely on a wallet link.

Using a voucher to preserve a care package is final and cannot be undone from the account. A package that is already preserved does not consume another voucher. Any signed-in user who has the private link and an available voucher may preserve an eligible package, including one created by somebody else. Payment or voucher redemption does not grant the payer ownership, editing rights, or deletion rights over that package.

Package lifecycle

An unpreserved package is normally viewable for 7 days from creation. Opening it does not restart the clock. It then enters a 7-day recovery period during which its content is hidden but it can still be preserved. Earlier packages may retain a longer deadline that was assigned when they were created. At the end of the applicable recovery period, the package's personal content, including service-hosted photos and voice recordings, is permanently deleted and cannot be restored. We retain only a minimal non-content record needed to return a stable deleted state and process delayed events safely.

These periods are measured by our servers. We may change future retention periods, but we will not intentionally shorten a package's already-disclosed deadline without a legal, safety, abuse, or urgent operational reason.

Preserved packages

Redeeming a voucher marks the package as preserved and removes its automatic expiry deadline. "Permanent", "forever", and "for life" in product copy mean for the operating life of this service. They do not guarantee that the service can never close, lose data, or remove content.

Legal requests, prohibited use, abuse, rights complaints, technical failure, or discontinuation may result in removal. Third-party music, video, map, product, and similar items remain external links and may stop working independently of this service.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create or upload. You give the operator a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, resize, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for your package and confirm that:

• You have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share the content.
• The content does not violate another person's privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• People identifiable in private photos or recordings have consented where consent is required.
• Links, descriptions, and coupons are not deceptive, harmful, or offered as legally enforceable payment instruments.

Prohibited use

Do not use the service to create, upload, link to, or distribute:

• Illegal content or content that facilitates illegal activity.
• Pornography, sexually explicit material, or adult services.
• Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or human trafficking.
• Child sexual abuse material or any sexualized content involving minors.
• Malware, phishing, spam, fraudulent offers, or attempts to bypass security and usage limits.
• Highly sensitive credentials, financial records, government identifiers, or medical records.
• Content that infringes intellectual property or other legal rights.
• Gambling, unlawful contests, fundraising, money transmission, or offers to buy, sell, or exchange vouchers for value.

Do not probe, scrape at scale, overload, reverse engineer security controls, or interfere with the service or other users.

Link privacy

Packages are not intentionally listed or searchable, but a package link is a bearer link: anyone who has it can open the package and forward the link. The service does not provide end-to-end encryption. You are responsible for deciding who receives the link and what is safe to include.

Moderation, rights complaints, and account action

We may reject, restrict, preserve as evidence, or remove content and may suspend accounts or block requests when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, respond to safety or intellectual-property complaints, protect infrastructure, or prevent abuse. We are not obligated to monitor every package.

To report illegal, unsafe, privacy-invasive, or infringing content, email support@littleboxofgoodies.com with the relevant package link, the reason for the report, and enough information for us to investigate. Do not send additional sensitive content in the report. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account restrictions.

Refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes

Refund eligibility, cancellation rules, delivery times, and the effect of a refund or chargeback are explained in our Refund, Cancellation & Digital Delivery Policy. That policy forms part of these Terms.

External services

Packages may link to third-party music, video, map, shopping, or other services. We do not control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for its availability, safety, prices, or privacy practices.

Availability and data loss

The service may change, experience interruptions, lose data, or be suspended or discontinued. We may introduce reasonable limits on package size, supported media, request rate, abuse controls, or future retention. No online service can guarantee absolute availability.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where those disclaimers are legally permitted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost content, or harm caused by users or third-party links. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will post the updated date and, where reasonably possible, provide notice of material changes that affect paid entitlements. Changes do not remove mandatory consumer rights or retroactively convert a one-time purchase into a subscription.
